Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

PPE is equipment/clothing worn to minimise exposure to health and safety risks. Items such as gloves, safety glasses and shoes, earplugs or muffs, hard hats and respirators.

Laws are in place that make employers responsible for providing PPE and employees responsible for wearing/using it.
